In House PR - Global Traffic Director (Internal Communications)
This is a new role within a huge global organisation within the People Engagement and Internal Communications division. The organisation is going through a phase of considerable change - as such, this is predominantly an internal-facing role although there will be a significant amount of external stakeholder engagement as the role develops.
The main objective of this position is to capture and coordinate the delivery of global company wide People Engagement and Internal Communications activity as employees move through a change to a more future-focused, technologically-embraced company. As such, candidates with proven experience of change management, internal communications and public relations on a global scale will be favoured.
You will be a natural problem solver and you will also rank highly in terms of emotional intelligence and social influence as this role will require not only credible senior gravitas from the outset but also the ability to influence from first encounter. Buoyant and positive interface with key working partners across this global business will be key to success in this role as you will be responsible for maintaining the master global project view including facilitating the planning of phased work load allocation, milestones and deliverables set against a prioritization framework. You will also be able to demonstrate a hearty appetite for change as you'll be poised to support the adaption of any change of plans and actively be a point of positive challenge to regions, driving effecitveness and efficiency.
- Proven project management / organisational skills, particularly within a fast moving communications and engagement environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills capable of managing multiple interfaces simultaneously
- Agile thinker with strong problem solving abilities - proven demonstration of thinking on your feet
- Experience of communication, engagement creation and production processes including 3rd party management
The package (basic & bens) is very generous and relocation to Switzerland will be essential. Fluency in English is essential as this is the dominant working language but French lessons are given if required. Additional languages are beneficial.
