This is a telecommute position for EXPERIENCED ASIAN MARKETS REPORTERS & EDITORS who have covered the financial markets in Asia. There are currently several openings for this telecommute (part or full-time) freelance writing position.

TELECOMMUTE JOB DESCRIPTION

These positions involve writing and/or editing breaking real-time coverage of listed equities on the Hong Kong and Singapore stock exchanges for a 3-7 hours each day. In-depth familiarity and extensive experience in financial journalism covering equities in those markets is required. Experience at other financial wire services (Dow Jones Newswire, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, etc.) is a big plus.

Stories are carried on the MTNewswires.com site and syndicated to other major market data platforms and large financial institutions. Contributors would be filing breaking news and/or market summaries during regular Asian market hours, Monday - Friday (excluding market holidays).

TELECOMMUTE REQUIREMENTS

• Experience writing fast paced, breaking Asian financial market coverage for a wire service or equivalent;
• Ability to work 3 or more hours per day sometime during the regular Asian and/or European Market hours, Monday - Friday remotely;
• Access to a computer with a reliable high speed internet connection.

COMPENSATION

Pay is on the high end of the industry scale and while freelance, provides a regular and reliable monthly income with growth potential. The Company has a tremendous record of retaining contributors over its 20 year history. Rates vary based on experience and location.
