Financial Reporter - French Companies
Would you like to join a great company and cover a market that is more and more in the public eye?
The sub-investment market is very hot at the moment, with the search for yield very much in the news, distressed and restructuring situations can provide investors with fantastic opportunities.
My client specialises in providing their readers (Hedge Funds, Private Equity Firms, Advisors and Lawyers) with invaluable insight into companies that are either in a distressed situation or are seeking refinancing.
This role involves writing about individual French companies, their current debt obligations and proving insight into the general health of the company.
You will be joining an international company who employ 500 journalists in offices across the world and their London office boasts one of the biggest newsrooms in Europe.
My client is looking for a financial journalist who has experience talking to either investors, bankers, lawyers or private equity firms.
Experience writing about any aspect of the financial markets will be considered, but some understanding of how deals are structured and/or knowledge of the credit markets would be a distinct advantage.
Due to the nature of this role my client is seeking someone who enjoys networking, this is not the kind of information you can get from aggregated sources, so it would suit someone who likes to get out in the market and develop and build relationships, some travel will also be an aspect of the job.
This role focuses on French companies and although some of the contacts you will be dealing with are based in London, Fluent French is a necessary requirement.
What my client offers good promotional prospects, the opportunity to develop highly valued skills and knowledge and the chance to work in a great environment.
